Cookie Policy

How MiyoTrip uses cookies and browser storage, what happens when you play a film, and how you can manage information saved on your device.

Local review draft prepared on 4 October 2026. The legal operator, registered address and country or region are awaiting confirmation. Production deployment and legal review are pending; the formal effective date has not been set.

This policy describes the MiyoTrip website. Its legal operator is [legal name to be confirmed], with registered address [to be confirmed] in [country or region to be confirmed]. MiyoTrip is the website's brand name and does not replace the operator's legal identity.

For how enquiry details and other personal information are handled, read Privacy Policy. The conditions for using the website are in Terms & Conditions.

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser; relevant cookies can be returned with later requests. Local storage keeps information for that website on your device until it is cleared. Session storage normally lasts for the browser session. These technologies have different purposes and are not all essential simply because they are first-party.

The inventory below reflects the current local website review. The live domain, hosting and security services must be checked before publication.

The following items support language preference, a notice and a travel-preparation checklist. The checklist and notice records are browser storage rather than cookies.

  • pll_language — A first-party Polylang cookie containing a language code. It is set when the website serves a page, without waiting for the cookie notice. Its declared lifetime is 31,536,000 seconds, approximately 365 days. It is returned to this website with relevant requests to help remember the language preference.
  • miyo_cookie_consent — A first-party local-storage record written when you press the notice's acknowledgement button. It contains two false flags, a and m, and a timestamp. It currently remembers dismissal of the notice; it is not an active analytics or marketing preference control. There is no automatic expiry, and the current website does not send this record to an external provider.
  • miyo-preparation:<pathname>:<checklistVersion> — First-party local storage for a preparation checklist, separated by page path and checklist version. Initialisation restores saved selections, then saves the current item numbers; the list is empty when nothing is selected. Ticking items or resetting updates it. It contains no enquiry or traveller details, has no automatic expiry, and remains on your device rather than being submitted to MiyoTrip.
  • miyo_announce_dismissed — First-party session storage that would remember closing an enabled announcement during that browser session. The announcement is currently disabled, so this item is not active in the reviewed visitor pages.
  • wpEmojiSettingsSupports: first-party session storage used by WordPress to cache browser support for emoji and flags, with a detection timestamp. Detection runs when no usable cached result exists and does not wait for the notice button. Results are reused briefly, then rechecked on a subsequent page load; the cache follows the browser tab session and can be cleared with site data. It stores display-support results, not enquiry details.

The current notice has an acknowledgement button. It does not offer “accept all”, “reject all” or category settings. Dismissing it does not change the loading of films or checklist storage. Browsing the website is not treated by this policy as consent to optional tracking.

Language and checklist memory are convenience features; their legal classification and any required controls remain subject to review for the audiences and jurisdictions served. This draft does not claim that a complete consent mechanism is already in place.

Film pages initially show a local preview without a YouTube player. Selecting play loads an embedded player from youtube-nocookie.com. This privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no information reaches YouTube: the connection can disclose your IP address, browser information and playback interactions. Provider storage depends on its service and your browser; exact names and lifetimes have not been verified here.

WhatsApp, YouTube and social-network links open an external service when selected. That service's policies apply after you leave MiyoTrip. You can browse our written content without playing an external film or following those links.

If your browser needs fallback emoji images, WordPress may request those images from s.w.org. That request can disclose your IP address and technical request information to the remote resource service. This is conditional display support, not an image request made on every page; the resource operator and processing locations still require deployment review.

The reviewed public pages do not load Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, advertising tags or a CAPTCHA. Some interface clicks are held temporarily in page memory; the current implementation has no external analytics destination for them.

If analytics, marketing or new embedded services are introduced, their purposes, providers, storage and controls must be reviewed and disclosed before activation, with the mechanism required by applicable rules.

Your browser settings can block cookies or delete this website's cookies and site data. Clearing cookies alone may leave local storage intact. Clearing site storage removes the remembered notice and checklist, so the notice may return and your selections may be lost.

The checklist's reset action empties its saved selections; it does not remove the storage entry itself. Private browsing or storage restrictions may prevent persistence, while checklist controls can still be used on the current page. Clearing browser data does not erase an enquiry you have already submitted; contact us about that information using Privacy Policy.

WordPress authentication cookies may be used when authorised staff sign in to administer the website. Ordinary visitors do not need an account, and public registration is disabled. Staff authentication cookies are not described as necessary for every visitor.

We will revise this inventory when the website's relevant services change. A revised notice is not a substitute for any consent or other action required for a new use. For questions, email [email protected], contact WhatsApp +8613861800000, or use Contact us.

The final policy requires confirmation of the legal operator and effective date, the live domain and hosting or security providers, the production cookie inventory and security settings, and the treatment of optional storage and external films under applicable rules.
